How time flies! I am back again. This term my focus is to pass the IELTS which has being upset me. And as everyone knows, this is the last semester or the last chance we can hard work for English under our teacher. So I hope to tighten it for my goal.

What is my weakness in English is oral. It is the most difficult to sharp improve for Chinese student. I don’t know in fact how to enhance in a short time except some traditional methods such as partner. But it is easier to say than to do. How to find a person who is interested in English and would like to talk to me all the time? So I decide to adopt tow method to carry out my plan. First, I will read a story from the new concept and state the general idea, and then compare the passage to adapt the logic of English. Second, during the two minutes, I would like to describe something that shows up in my daily life in English. These practice I should be done every day. In the process of learning English, I am going to recite all kinds of conversation in order to enforce the sense of native English.

As to listening, I will have a lot of dictation from “listen to this two”. The form of this material is similar to IELTS and it can be divided into practice and dictation. It reminds me that if you finished twenty-nine classes, you are possible to get seven mark of listening.

Writing also is one of weakness of my English although the teacher pays more attention on this part and gives us many assignments. In my view, apart from practice more, I should recite some good sentence patterns from native writings and avoid some basic mistakes of grammar. And my reading is average. But this is the most potential of improving mark in IELTS. In the process of study, I will try to understand each point of knowledge, including new words, various sentence patterns and grammar. Another, I want to have more amount of reading from interesting books such as short joke story.

It is noticeable that we should take note of English grammar. Someone may think it’s not essential; but I insist that it will play a major role in growing the mark of IELTS because whether writing or reading all require it.

In a word, only if I persist on study and follow by my plan, my dream will come true.
