1.  When I had became a university student , I began to find how important the english was , then I decided to try my best to learn it ,but after that the situation made me worried about my english course.
First ,I would like to ask "why the new words' learning is so hard for me ?" I learned some new words everyday ,but these were forgotten at the next day ,I wanted to let them still remember ,but they didn’t. Second, listening was the other problem for me when I was learning english .I thought every student was interested in watching some foreign films ,so did I .But if the films without Chinese translation ,I didn't know what they were talking about ,I hoped one day I could know the meaning without the translation.
If you wanted to ask me about the effective measures in learning english ,I thought remember more vocabulary and do more english listening would helpful. New words would help you understand the articles , more listening would let you know what others were saying about.
In the future ,I hope my english skills will improve more.

2.  When the first time I read the title "The Power of a Note " ,I begin to think about that why should the author say a note has power , but after reading paragraph 1 to paragraph 10 , I find this sentence may help me to understand this title ,and also this sentence is my favorite sentence "It is a matter of record , and our words can be read more than once, savored and treasured."
I know that someone may like to talk with each other in phone or some other convenient ways ,but after talking, can you still find any real words to be savored ,even be treasured for yourself ? The answer must be "NO". So we should use a pen to write ,if you make a record ,these words could be read again and again, maybe one day, you will find some different things between them. This must the note's power, it lets every thing be remained in the form of words ,you can read them anytime you like ,and feel the sentiment only the note could give you .
Except finding this beautiful sentence, I also learn a new grammar knowledge, you can find it in this phrase” couldn’t have been more inspiring”, I think this is a very important grammar knowledge for me.

3. In my opinion ,the author would like to tell us he was only a teenager who got a low payment at that time ,and his work didn't attract others attention ,so when he got the note from his boss, it would let him feel so inspiring.

  It means that the note which from the boss was considered a most important thing for the author, when the author didn't feel confident ,this note would give him a power.

  To be a good writer, he must have sensitive emotion ,and abundant imagination ,also a good language skill which would help him to write article very well.

4.  To my knowledge, the author want us to know1. in that time he didnt have more attention as a editor. 6.And he 2.work very hard 4.and he3. is far away from to be a good editor.
From "until it got rageared" , we can know that the author often read this note when he5. is frustrated or unhappy . And this note let him regain confidence .
Firstly , as a author must keep a eye on the life and find out the delight  and beauty of life. Then he must have a good patience, because i think the writing is a boring and hard work. Thirdly , a broden horizon and plenty of experience is necessary. Finally, a sensitive heart is also very important.

5.  Before I read this part , I never knew that human beings need positive reinforcement , like the author says “Too often we think , I haven’t said anything critical ; why do I have to say something positive ? “ Most of us always show our appreciation very seldom , especially to our families ,this sentence must be remembered forever , then to say something which are positive , let other people feel your regard , and you will be happy more .
How to write letters life spirits and warm hearts ? I really like the first “S’s” ----sincere , I think sincere is the most important thing in our society . When you get a praise , but then someone tells you that’s false praise ,what would you feel then ? But nowdays , more and more people say some deceptive words or do some false things ,that will make me worry about our habitation .What we need now that is sincere ,writing some letters and showing some feeling sincerely, it would necessary for everyone .

I can't understand very well about this word "sex-related " , if anyone can tell me your understand ?

"Research done by the ...with stereotyped gender roles ." This is the first sentence in paragraph 3, I think this is a long sentence ,and also the structural is complex , it is difficult for me to understand .

In paragraph 2, I read this word "taking over " ,it appears at 29th line , what does it mean?

What can we learn from this sentence "Their research showed that many teachers who thought they were nonsexist were amazed to how biased they appeared on videotape ."

What can we explain this word " experiment

I think my understanding has some problems.” I think this is a worthwhile question , because in this question , she not only asked a puzzled problem for her , but also told us her understand about that ,this is really a elaborate question .

It is really an amazing story .When I had finished my listen as the first time for this news, I began to wonder my understanding about this whole article, then I tried to listen again, yes, that’s true .At one midnight, a man crashed into a house when the families were finishing their dinner with their guests, but then an unthinkable thing happened. Instead of hurting someone, the robber  had a glass of wine with them, and after hugging, this man went away.
As soon as I finishing this listening, one word appears in my mind, that is “tolerance”. Let’s suppose that the families have a traditional way to this intruder, they bewilderment and didn’t know what should they do, then gave money or some other things this robber wanted; or they shouted and irritated the robber, and someone would been hurt. Having a tolerant attitude to the intruder, let him calm down and treated him as you family, like this story, asking him to have a glass of wine with them, then the intruder would let up his vigilance. Especially the hug at last, this behavior must brought sensation to this robber, the crime should involuntarily stop. Not only stopping a crime but also giving some move to another person, I think this is a good way to solve something like this story just told us, having a tolerant attitude to everyone even your enemy, you may get some marvelous results.

13. If I will be given a chance to copy the example of Don and other friends who care enough to write uplifting comments , I will divide it into three steps. First, I will write these notes to my families, we live together every day , but I never say “thank you” or show my appreciation to them. So if I have a chance to write such notes , I will write them to my families after they do some helpful things for me or when they are facing up to some problems. Second, I will write some inspiring notes to my close friends, I think by this means , our relationship will be more and more closer .Third, I begin to write these notes to every person who I have known in my life, show my care to them and also I will receive their warmth .
What sense do we say the world is “cold and unresponsive” ? I think the answer is very various. When you see someone is in danger but you don’t give them help or something like this case  could be considered as a cold sense .And also ,someone who always live alone and don’t care anything even when his friends ask him for help, this is another sense we could say “cold and unresponsive”.
